think about letting Jason into his heart.

As the boat turned and he lost sight of Jason, Troy knew it would all be

over soon. Jason was a nice guy. Gorgeous but nice, and when Troy found

someone to take him off Jason's hands, he'd leave. And Jason would be happy

to see him go.

Sure they were having fun, and Christ, the sex was phenomenal, but Troy

was fooling himself to think this was anything more.

The boat came around, slowed, and his stomach dropped as he came

down. His feet touched the water; then he sank under the surface and bobbed

back up, the sail behind him. A few minutes later, he was back on the boat and

heading to the dock.

“What'd you think?” Jason shouted as he bounced up and down on the

pier.

“Fucking awesome!” Troy shouted, pumping his fist in the air. The boat

pulled next to the dock, and Troy hopped out.

Jason met him in a bear hug and nearly spun him around.

“I told you! Just like I said, right?” Jason laughed.

Troy punched him on the arm. “Just like you said.”

“My turn.” Jason took the life vest from the guy and put it and then

slipped into the harness like he knew what he was doing.

He got in the boat and turned to Troy. “Watch me!” he shouted just like

some kid on the playground.

“I'm watching!” Troy shouted back and waved him off. The boat pulled

away.

Troy sat on the edge of the dock and watched Jason take his turn around

the lake.

They swapped waves, yells, and then, before he knew it, Jason was

hopping off the boat and onto the dock.
